This week in the English Premier League, Liverpool welcomed Watford on Saturday evening, as they looked to shrug off the bitter taste of last week’s derby defeat to Manchester United and edge closer towards a coveted top-four finish.
Unsurprisingly, Mohamed Salah was the star of the show, as he waltzed past Watford defenders, scoring and assisting goals at will. The Egyptian forward eventually ended the night with four incredible goals and an assist for a wonderful Roberto Firmino flick, as the Reds thrashed the Hornets 5-0.
Salah has now pulled ahead in the race for the Golden Boot with 28 goals and 9 assists in the league so far, leaving behind the currently injured Harry Kane, whose record remains at 24 goals and only 2 assists.
What do you think? Will Salah win the Golden Boot or can Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero catch up with him in the remainder of the season?
