Barcelona Pushing for Griezmann Transfer to Avoid Bidding War with Manchester United

After realizing his slip up, Griezmann quickly added that his comment doesn’t necessarily mean that he wants to join The Red Devils, but the interview still reignited the old rumors of him potentially moving to Old Trafford.

However, it is uncertain whether Jose Mourinho would actually be interested in signing another forward, having brought in Alexis Sanchez during the winter transfer window. On the other hand, Mourinho might feel he needs to strengthen his attacking options, since Zlatan Ibrahimovic left the club and moved to LA Galaxy merely days ago.

In any case, clubs will have to act quickly if they want Griezmann, as the Atletico Madrid forward recently insisted that he wanted to resolve his future before the World Cup in Russia starts, as reported by Goal.
