The newly crowned Premier League champions Manchester City are not wasting any time ahead of the next season, as they look to use the Financial Fair Play troubles of PSG to land Kylian Mbappe on a permanent basis.
Having failed to sign Riyad Mahrez and Alexis Sanchez in the previous two transfer windows, Pep Guardiola is desperate to add potency to his attack, as he believes injuries could seriously derail their progress next year.
Furthermore, Guardiola is a long-time admirer of Mbappe and he is even looking to build his attack around the French youngster, with Sergio Aguero rumored to be leaving the club in the near future.
However, this deal will be possible only if PSG are hit with heavy UEFA sanctions due to their almost unavoidable Financial Fair Play violations. The sanctions would probably have to include a ban from Champions League football, since any other form of punishment would not force PSG to sell their star players.
Still, this transfer has never looked more promising.
