Mohamed Salah has been in phenomenal form since joining Liverpool and his performances haven’t gone unnoticed. Apparently, the Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is confident he can persuade the Egyptian winger to join Los Blancos as early as next summer.Salah has had a record-breaking debut season with the Reds, scoring 40 goals in all competitions and 30 in the Premier League, as he currently leads the race for the Golden Boot ahead of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ciro Immobile.
However, Liverpool fans will be concerned to hear that perhaps the greatest ever Egyptian footballer Mido has openly called for Mo Salah to move to Real Madrid, as he believes that he could step up his game and reach the next level at the Santiago Bernabeu. (via Goal)
Real Madrid might be ready to offer Gareth Bale and a sizeable compensation for the talented Egyptian, but it is unclear whether Jurgen Klopp would even entertain the idea of releasing Salah. Still, the Madrid boardroom remains hopeful, as they have recently seen Liverpool cave in to the pressure and let Philippe Coutinho join Barcelona – now, they intend to use the same tactic of player discontent to force the move.
What do you think? Should Liverpool keep Salah at all costs or should they let him leave if he asks for a transfer away from the club?
