After numerous reports confirmed that Steven Gerrard will take over Rangers at the end of the season, his former England teammate and Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has revealed that he is also looking to start a managerial career in the near future. The iconic Chelsea No. 8 has said that he believes Gerrard will have a successful career in management and revealed that he has been practicing at his former club Chelsea while  acquiring his coaching licenses.

Meanwhile, Ipswich have reportedly already declared their interest in his services, but Lampard still needs to complete his coaching badges before he can get into management. Nevertheless, as soon as that obstacle is removed, Lampard will be looking for an opportunity to showcase his managerial prowess and could take over at Ipswich as early as next season.

Ipswich are a mid-table Championship side at the moment and they hope that the appointment of a footballing legend like Lampard could attract players and help kickstart their push for promotion to the Premier League.
