The 2010 World Cup winners Spain have finally announced their 23-man squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

What follows is the Spain 23-man squad in full:

Goalkeepers: Kepa, De Gea, Reina

Defenders: Alba, Azpilicueta, Carvajal, Nacho, Monreal, Odriozola, Pique, Ramos

Midfielders: Isco, Thiago, Busquets, Silva, Iniesta, Saul, Koke

Forwards: Asensio, Aspas, Diego Costa, Rodrigo, Lucas Vasquez

Fans were quick to notice several notable absentees from the squad, including Sergi Roberto, Alvaro Morata, Marcos Alonso, Cesc Fabregas, Juan Mata, Marc Bartra, Suso, Luis Alberto and Jose Gaya. However, when it comes to nations with a pool of talented players as wide as Spain’s, someone was bound to be left out.

What do you think? Did some of these players that were left out deserve to feature in the World Cup?
