Zlatko Dalic, the current manager of the Croatian national football team, has announced his 23-man squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

What follows is the 23-man Croatia squad in full:

Goalkeepers: Subasic, Kalinic, Livakovic

Defenders: Corluka, Vida, Strinic, Lovren, Vrsaljko, Pivaric, Jedvaj, Mitrovic, Caleta-Car

Midfielders: Modric, Rakitic, Kovacic, Badelj, Brozovic, Bradaric

Forwards: Mandzukic, Perisic, Kalinic, Kramaric, Pjaca, Rebic

This is quite possibly the strongest and most balanced Croatian squad in recent history. With the midfield trio of Modric, Rakitic and Kovacic supplemented with the attacking prowess of Mandzukic, Perisic and Kramaric, Croatia will definitely be a force to be reckoned with in the World Cup.

It is now clear why many pundits picked Croatia as the possible dark horses for the upcoming tournament in Russia.

What do you think? How far can Croatia go in the World Cup and can be this year’s surprise package?
